I'm your host, Kristina Stubblefield. If you're eager to take your business to greater heights, then you're in the right place.

We're here to help you unleash your business's untapped potential, boost your visibility, and maximize your investments. Let's dive into the world of Simplified Solutions. Stay tuned, and let's simplify success together.

All right, let's start with the [00:02:00] biggest reason why your marketing isn't working. You're throwing spaghetti at the wall without a strategy. Does that sound familiar? You're posting randomly, trying to be on every platform, and just hoping something sticks. Or maybe you're chasing trends, like trying to go viral on a social media platform.

Even though it doesn't align with your business goals. Here's the truth. Effective marketing isn't about doing more. It's about doing the right things for your business. Not every business is the same. For example, I had a client who was spending hours on Instagram every week, but most of her clients were actually finding her through Google.

She didn't realize she was focusing all of her energy on potentially the [00:03:00] wrong platform. What she needed was a clear strategy, or as I like to call it, a road map, to focus her efforts where they'd actually pay off. Once we adjusted her approach, she started seeing results almost immediately.

Ask yourself, where do your ideal clients spend their time online? This is a really important question. Then ask yourself, what problems are they searching for solutions to? You want to use this information to create a focused strategy and stop wasting time on things that don't work. Now, let's talk about another hidden culprit.

Are you ready? Mindset. I know a lot about this topic because I've had to do a lot of work on it myself. And a [00:04:00] lot of business owners tell me I'm just not good at marketing or I'm not creative enough to stand out. Have you thought this or said the same thing? This kind of mindset can hold you back more than you realize.

For instance, one of my clients avoided video for years because she didn't think she was interesting enough. When we finally got her to a point to start sharing simple tips on camera, her audio engagement tripled. Why? Because people connected with her authenticity. The reality is, you don't need to be a marketing genius to get started with marketing your business, or you don't have to have a huge budget to get started on the path to [00:05:00] success.

What you do need is the confidence to show up consistently and authentically. Your audience doesn't want perfect. They want real. They want the real you.

Okay, are you ready to take a step? I encourage you to pick one small step to get out of your comfort zone this week. Maybe it's posting a photo of yourself or sharing a behind the scenes look at your business. Remember, it doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to be you.

Now, I want to move on to another big issue.

You're not tracking your results. And I really want to talk about this, because how do you know what's working if you're not paying [00:06:00] attention to the numbers?

So I had a client who was spending money on Facebook ads, but they weren't tracking the ROI. So when we sat down together to take a look at the analytics, we realized that one ad was driving tons of traffic, but another one wasn't converting at all. By reallocating her budget to the more successful ad, She doubled her leads in just a month.

Marketing isn't just about set it and forget it. No, you need to track, analyze, and adjust as you go. So, where do you start? I would start with something simple. Check your analytics on social media, whichever platform it is that you want to pick, or your website. What's getting the most engagement or traffic?

[00:07:00] Double down on what's working and tweak or drop what's not working.

Now, the last thing stopping you from marketing is overcomplication. Boy, do I resonate with that word. A lot of people think more is better. More posts, more platforms, more everything. But here's the truth. Simplicity is your secret weapon. I had a client who was so overwhelmed trying to manage, I believe it was five different social media accounts that she ended up not posting anything at all.

But, when we narrowed down her focus to just one platform. She not only became more consistent, but she also started seeing [00:08:00] better engagement and leads. So my tip to you is to keep things simple. Focus on one platform, one goal, and one message at a time. Remember, progress beats perfection every single time.

Alright, let's go back and recap what we just went over. Your marketing isn't working because you don't have a strategy. Mindset blocks like fear or self doubt are holding you back. Maybe more so than you even realize. You're not tracking your results and making adjustments. You're overcomplicating things when simplicity is the key.

So, I would like to see you pick one of these areas that you need to [00:09:00] focus on. Whether it's creating a simple strategy, tracking your results, or simplifying your approach. I encourage you to take one small step to move your marketing forward.
