Well today, I'm going to share with you how to take one blog post And turn it into at least 10 different pieces of content using ChatGPT. And the best part? Without extra work.

I've been fortunate to help business owners take one single piece of content and turn it into an entire content strategy, saving them hours each week. And today I want to help you. So I don't know about you, but I'm really excited about this topic because it can make such an impact for small business owners, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, really everybody. 

So let's get started with step number one. And this one's really important because you want to start with a well structured blog post.

Now, why would that be important? Well, your blog is the foundation for all the content you'll repurpose. So make sure it's structured properly. [00:02:00] A good blog post includes a strong hook. That way you can grab attention. It includes three to five key points that can be turned into separate content pieces. It also includes a clear call to action, so that way you can drive engagement or conversions.

Now, if you don't have a blog post yet, don't worry. You can ask ChatGPT give me five blog post ideas, four blank. You wanna put your industry in there? That would attract my target audience. Once you have your blog. Let's repurpose it into multiple content formats. 

So now we're on to step two. We want to turn the blog into three social media captions.

So, a single blog post can be broken into at [00:03:00] least three engaging social media posts. Now, I say at least because there are many opportunities that this can be turned into. several more than just three. So the prompt you want to use for ChatGPT is summarize this blog post into three engaging social media captions, each with a different focus.

So let me give you an example. And let's just say you were an interior designer. And the blog would be, Five easy ways to make a small living room look bigger. ChatGPT might generate this. Caption one, an educational post. Did you know that the right furniture placement can make your living room feel twice as big?

Try these simple design tricks. Caption [00:04:00] two might be a story post. I recently worked with a client who thought their small space was hopeless. With just a few tweaks, we made it feel open and airy. Here's how caption three might be an engagement post and it could sound like if you could change one thing about your living room.

What would it be? Let me know in the comments. Now, let's take this even further. Step three creating. A LinkedIn or Facebook post. Now, these tend to be longer format posts. So, we want to use your blog post as a personal insight or thought leadership post for LinkedIn or Facebook. Well, here's a prompt that you can use for ChatGPT.

Turn this blog post into a compelling LinkedIn post [00:05:00] that positions me as an expert. So I'm going to give you an example as a marketing consultant. If the blog was about why consistency in marketing matters, ChatGPT might generate a relatable opening. I used to think posting daily was the key to success, but I quickly learned consistency matters. More than frequency. That's a true statement.

Now, some key takeaways from the blog. Three to five bullet points. A call to action to engage the audience. What's one marketing habit that changed your business? Let's discuss. This helps position you as an expert while repurposing the content effortlessly.

Moving on to step four. Convert it into an email newsletter. Now, I'm [00:06:00] not going to veer off track and talk about my feelings about email marketing because it is a way underutilized marketing opportunity for all businesses. And your email list needs valuable content. This blog can be in an informative email to your subscribers.

So, a prompt to use for ChatGPT would be, rewrite this blog post into a concise, engaging email newsletter with a strong call to action.

So, let me give you an example.

Let's just say you were a personal finance coach. The subject, Want to get out of debt faster? Try this simple trick. And then there would be a quick intro. If you're feeling overwhelmed by debt, you're not alone. But here's the good news. Small [00:07:00] changes make a big impact. And then there would be summarized key points from the blog.

As well as a call to action to read the full blog. Check out my guide for a step by step plan. Your email list will appreciate the value that you're delivering. And you'll drive traffic back to your website. Or whatever your call to action is in the email.

Okay, I'm ready to move on to step five. One of my favorites. Use it for a YouTube or long form video. Video content is so important no matter what type of business or organization you are. And your blog post is already structured like a video script. Now, all you have to do is tweak it. So here's a prompt for ChatGPT.

Turn this blog post into [00:08:00] a five minute YouTube video script with an engaging intro and call to action.

Let me give you an example. Let's say you were a restaurant owner, and if your blog was Five Unique Ways to Elevate Your Dining Experience, then the video could be An intro. Dining out should be more than just food. It should be an experience. Here's how we make sure guests have an unforgettable time at blank.

And you would put your restaurant name in there. It would pull out key points, such as custom drink pairings for each dish. Chef's table experiences. Live music on the weekends. And then a call to action to visit us at your website and book your next unforgettable meal. [00:09:00] Now you have a ready to record a video in just a couple minutes.

And let's not forget YouTube. Is the second largest search engine. So it's so much more than just repurposing content. Okay, I'm gonna keep going. We're going right into step six. And this is on the heels of long form content. Create short form videos. For Instagram Reels or TikTok. Now, why would you want to do that?

Well, short form videos help boost engagement and reach new audiences. So, here's a prompt that you can use in ChatGPT. Summarize this blog post into three 15 to 30 second short form video scripts for Instagram. Or, if you use TikTok, you can say TikTok. Now, let me give you an example as a mortgage broker. If the blog is [00:10:00] three things to do before applying for a mortgage, ChatGPT might generate video one.

It's going to have a hook before you apply for a mortgage. Stop. Do these three things first. Boom, got your attention. Video number two a tip breakdown. Your credit score matters. Here's how to improve it before you apply. Video 3 a call to action. Want a personalized home loan plan? DM me mortgage for a free consultation.

As I said, videos are so important no matter what type of business or organization you have. Now, let's move on to visual content. 

Step seven, you can create an infographic or a carousel post. Now, I'm going to use an example. If you were a wedding planner, your blog post may be five [00:11:00] wedding planning mistakes to avoid.

And if you were doing a carousel post, what you would have is slide one. Avoid these five wedding planning mistakes. Slide two would have mistake number one. Slide three would have mistake number two. Slide four, mistake number three, and so on. And then potentially end with slide seven. Need help planning your dream wedding?

Carousel posts seem to do really well on Instagram, as well as other platforms, so it's something you may want to consider for your business or organization. 

Now we're moving on to Step 8. Repurpose as a podcast episode. So, Let me give you an example. Say you had a blog and you were a dentist and the blog post was the truth about teeth whitening, what works and what doesn't.

Then you might want to record a [00:12:00] podcast episode. That's titled teeth whitening. What actually works and you would have an opening hook You would have a segment one, maybe a segment two and then a call to action for a personalized whitening plan visit and enter your website The point of this is there's so many opportunities for repurposing content and we're just talking about all of this repurposing from one structured blog post And I'm not done yet.

We're moving on to step nine. You can adapt it into a lead magnet or a downloadable resource. And I'm going to give you an example. If you were a florist, say your blog was 10 seasonal flowers for weddings and events. Well, your download could be the ultimate seasonal flower guide for 2025.

And in [00:13:00] there, it could include best flowers by season, tips for keeping them fresh, how to mix and match colors, with a call to action to download your free guide at your website. 

This is one thing that people should utilize more, is downloadables and resources or lead magnets to build their email list, uh, generate conversions to their websites. So many opportunities. 

Now, step 10, and this one you should pay close attention to, very close attention. Turn your blog into a Google Business Profile post.

Why? That's the question, why? Well, Google Business Profile posts boost local visibility and ensure potential customers see fresh, relevant content about your business. So here's a [00:14:00] prompt for ChatGPT summarize this blog post into a Google business profile post that includes a call to action and highlights key points in a concise format. Let's just say, as an example, you are an event venue, and your blog post is five questions to ask before booking an event venue. Then the Google Business profile post could be, Planning an event in blank city? Whether it's a wedding, corporate gathering, or private party, choosing the right venue makes all the difference.

Here are five key questions to ask before booking, and you would then have those five questions listed out, and then you would make sure to put a call to action looking for the perfect venue. Schedule a tour today and either send them to your website. [00:15:00] or prompt them to call to book. Now, I want to give you another tip.

Google Business Profile posts should be short, engaging, and location specific to boost your local search ranking. Google loves Google. And Google Business Profile posts are underutilized.

Whew, I don't know about you, but we just covered a lot. One blog post can be the foundation of your entire content strategy. Instead of constantly scrambling for what to post next, You now have a repeatable system for turning a single piece of content into social media posts, emails, videos, carousel posts or infographics, and even a lead magnet or downloadable that brings in potential customers. And don't forget about your Google Business [00:16:00] profile. Keeping that updated with fresh content helps you stay visible in local searches.

The key here isn't just about creating more content. It's about working smarter, not harder. With the right approach, you can maximize the value of every blog post and keep your marketing running consistently. Without the overwhelm.
